Sukadev Bretz is founder of Yoga Vidya, a network of Yoga Ashrams, Yoga Centers and Yoga Teachers in Germany. Yoga Vidya Ashram Meinberg with more than 250 permanent residents and up to 1000 guests is the biggest Ashram outside India. Sukadev is in the Board of many international Yoga Institutions like League of Yogis, European Yoga Federation and United Consciousness. Sukadev is author of more than ten books on Yoga, Meditation and spirituality. He has produced Thousands of Yoga Videos and Podcasts. Sukadev's concern is to combine traditional yoga with modern insights, spiritual yoga with athletic and health-oriented yoga. A matter close to his heart is the connection of the different yoga traditions and all spiritual traditions.
