Aus Anlass des Weltyogatages wird es ein buntes Programm mit internationalen Yoga Meisterinnen und Meistern, mit Yogastunden, mit Workshops, mit Meditationen, mit Konzerten u.v.m. geben.
Gleichzeitig ist es das Kickoff Meeting zur Verbindung vom Gita Vidya, dessen Leiter Gopi V. Pasad ist und Yoga Vidya mit seinem Gründer Sukadev Bretz.
Der „International Day of Yoga – Gita Vidya in Verbindung mit Yoga Vidya“ ist ein Event im Rahmen des „Word Yoga Summit“ vom 18.-23.06.2023. Weitere Events des „Word Yoga Summit“ sind die „Global confereence on Shaping the Future of the world by Holistic Yoga Beyond Physiology“ vom 19.06.-20.06.2023 sowie die „Abschlussveranstaltung der Yoga World Championships“ am 22.06.2023. Alle Events können separat oder als „Word Yoga Summit“ vom 18.-23.06.2023 gebucht werden.
